1. Chicks from a standard-production line were fed diets containing 0.6% to 1.2% or no cystine, respectively. The intake of dry matter was reduced by 50%. 2. At 6 weeks of age, the cystine-restricted chicks had reduced weights and food intakes, and were characterised by a lowered plasma glutathione concentration. 3. At 8 weeks of age the restricted chicks had heavier body and liver weights than the controls. 4. At 8 weeks of age the weight of the small intestine and liver DNA was greater in the restricted chicks. 5. It is concluded that dietary cystine restriction in a production line at peak rates of egg production can induce a loss of gut integrity at an early age, possibly by a disturbance of intestinal mucosal structure and function.Q:
Python Random Number Generator Repeating Oddly
Hi guys I’m trying to randomly generate 10 numbers with a range of 0 to 6.
My code looks like:
numbers = [0,1,2,3,4,5,6]
for x in range(10):
randnum = random.randint(0,6)
I get this:
Why is the last number generated twice?
I’d appreciate any advice on what I’m doing wrong.
The reason is that the last random number you chose is equal to the first number in your list. You do not get a new random number for each element in the list, but just one number for the whole list.
To get one random number for each element in your list, you should just set the list to random.randint(0, 6) not random.randint(0, 6) 10 times:
numbers = [random.randint(0, 6) for _ in range(10)]
for i in numbers:
Or you can use random.choice(numbers):
numbers = [random
